Misci


For the 2019 mothers’ day, Misci invited O Traço to develop an illustration that depicted a very common Brazilian reality: Solo mothers. But with a tender lens over these strong and hard working moms.

All of the symbols present in the scene were thought to help the understanding of an absent presence of a father: the open gates, the church, the chair, the moon ( a feminine figure) during the day, representing that there should be a sun (a masculine figure) but there ain’t.
